What Causes Severe Stomach Discomfort While On Methylphenidate?

Question: can taking 3to4 20mg per day can methylphenidate cause mild to severe stomach discomfort? discomfort causes XXXXXXX to retire many times to bed and restrict activities.

yes it can cause stomach discomfort,gastritis or diarrheas. you should reduce dosage or take ranitidine 150mg per day. also,have easier food,avoid smoking,coffee and alcohol. Wish you good health.Regards

Sorry for the delay due to my work schedule.

You can take Tab PANTOPRAZOLE 40mg Once daily before breakfast or Tab RANITIDINE 150mg Twice daily before food for 7 days .

Also menta tea and milk product may help as well. Methylphenidate may affect diet but not significantly.
