What Causes Severe Stomach Pain After Chemotherapy?
Question: After her second chemo R CHOP, my mother in law is having severe stomach pain besides today she talking irrationally which is not balanced. She was given chemo on 05 & 06 Jun 15. She was diagnosed with Low Grade Lymphoma B Cell in Apr 15. As per the PET Scan t is spread on both sides of Diaphragm and with affected Bone Marrow as per the Bone Marrow Aspiration Test. The greatest cause of worry is her imbalanced talk from today onwards.

I have gone through the reports
As your mother in law is having severe stomach pain after her second R CHOP chemotherapy for low grade lymphoma b cell i would advise you to give her Drotaverine tabets twice daily after food with your doctors advise
As she is taking irrationally you need to do MRI brain to rule out brain metastasis or spread of the lymphoma to brain
I would also advise you to do a blood test for checking the sodium content in her blood

Her disease is extensive it has spread to lymphs nodes in side of her diaphragm, liver and bone marrow
You are undergoing right treatment with RCHOP chemotherapy and after 3 cycles the disease needs to be reassesed with a fresh CT scan
Cure rate for such lymphoma is good with chemotherapy and it is about 60%
