What Causes Severe Tingling Sensation In The Hands And Legs?

Question: I have a strong tingling sensation from both of my hands to elbows and feet to knees. this has gotten worse over 3 days. I have no neurological weakness and my dermatomes are normal. my hands to elbows and feet to kmees feel extremely weird with this intense tingling sensation. it feels funny to even have a blanket on. I have been to two doctors and an emergency department, they don't know what it is. my blood tests have come back normal and blood gas analysis normal. they have booked me in for nerve conduction tests. they said it could be a bizarre representation of guillian Barre syndrome but a psychiatrist said it could possible be anxiety (whom I asked on here). I did have anxiety the other day worrying about it but I have calmed down more now, slept few hours but the tingling is still present. I have no significant medical history and no drug use. does anyone have any ideas please? ?
Brief Answer:
Cervical spondylosis vs Cervical rib
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for the query.
You could be suffering from Cervical spondylosis or Cervical rib. You need to get an Xray to rule out and distinguish between the two conditions.
Also do get an MRI of the cervical spine to look for nerve pinching.
Avoid bending neck forward or lifting weights. Apply hot packs to the affected region. Take pain killers. Wear a cervical collar.
Do holiday the Xray and MRI for my review.
I hope I have answered your query.
