Detailed Answer:
Hello there, Welcome to HCM.

Thanks for the query.

I have read your query and understood your problem. Kindly answer a few questions for me to have a better picture of your condition.

Do you have pain that radiates to the lower limbs?

Do you have tingling or numbness?

Have you ever been given epidural steroid injection?

It appears that you are suffering from possible Lumbar spondylosis with possible canal stenosis. This means that degenerative changes have begun in your spinal joints and is compressing on the nerves thus causing pain.

Other comorbid condition could be Osteoporosis which is common at your age especially in the setting of postmenopause.

I would advise you to apply hot packs to the painful regions. Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights. Perform straight leg raising exercises while lying down and back extension exercises. You cab take Tablet Diclofenac and Thicolchicoside combination twice a day for 5 days after meals such us an anti inflammatory and muscle relaxant combination medicine. This shall give you relief from the pain and muscle spasm.

Also do eat a diet rich in calcium and Vitamin D such as Eggs, oily fish, soya, chicken, cheese and other milk products. Also do take Calcium supplements.

Kindly do get an Xray and if possible an MRI of your spine and upload then for my reference. According to the changes and level of degenerative changes, a treatment plan can be detailed for your relief.

Do follow up with me after taking the medication and following the above mentioned precautions.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Thanks and regards.
