Possibility of swine flu is very less.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr. Nilesh Fichadiya answering your questions. I have carefully read your question.
Currently, pandemic of Swine flu also known as H1N1 Influenza is going on and it is natural that you are concerned for that.
You have history of shivering which has started since yesterday. You have no history of fever and on two occasions your temperature was normal. You don't have history of pain in throat, cough, redness in throat or headache. In such situation, chance of having swine flu is negligible because these are the commonest presenting symptoms of swine flu.
As such, there is nothing to be scared because of swine flu since it is not a life threatening disease, mild in substantial number of cases and many of them are subclinical infection i.e. do not produce enough symptoms that require a doctor's consultation. Clinical or subclinical infection gives substantial immunity which persist for long time may be life-long.
Your complain of shivering may be due to other reasons like some other viral or bacterial infection or just due to anxiety.
You don't need to take paracetamol if you don't have fever. If you have fever with shivering, please get your blood test done along with test for malaria.
I hope I have cleared your queries.

No shivering is not due to gastritis. Continue pan40 along with sucralfate for 7 days
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The shivering is not related to the gastritis. It might be due to anxiety mostly or missing a meal or low glucose level. Don't worry about that until you have any more symptoms.
You may have developed gastritis with esophagitis due to excessive spicy food. Continue pan40 as you are taking. Add sucralfate liquid which should help you for breathing discomfort and take it just before meal and pan40 after meal.
Take light diet and avoid oily & spicy food.
You should get your complete blood count (CBC) done to rule out infection.
Take medicine for 7 days. If you are not having relief after then gastroscopy is indicated.
I hope I have answered your questions.
Please ask if you have any more doubt or close the conversation and rate the answer. Thanks.
Hypoglycemia may be the reason for shivering.
Detailed Answer:
As mentioned earlier, shivering in evening without temperature is likely to be due to hypoglycemia which can be because of less food intake. Other reasons may be hypothyroidism or diabetes.
You should undergo following tests :
Complete blood count with Peripheral Smear for Malarial Parasite,
RBS, FBS & PP2BS,
Thyroid profile.
This tests should catch if there is any underlying problem.
Your problem of gastritis should resolve by treatment we have discussed earlier.
I hope I have answered to your satisfaction.
Wish you the best of your health.
Take care.
