Question: I SUDDENLY GOT A SHOOTING PAIN IN MY LEFT SHOULDER ACCOMPANIED BY SHORTNESS OF BREATH. WHAT MAY BE THE CAUSE

The symptoms you have described are typically seen in MI( Heart attack).
Such symptoms due to unknown cause are mostly due to lack of/ decreased blood supply to heart.
I would suggest you to get an ECG, immediately and consult your cardiologist.
Early diagnosis and early treatment will help you a lot.
