Brief Answer:
Can be a muscle cramp.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The sharp shooting pan that you had could be related to a muscle cramp. Sometimes, it can be due to dehydration, muscle fatigue or electrolyte abnormalities. It is better to drink sufficient fluid and also see that your intake of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, magnesium ) is sufficient. You can drink Oralyte for this.
I hope this answers your query.

thanks for your answer. Would the cramps also affect the pain and pulsing in the arm and cause the nausea ?

Brief Answer:
Can be due to electrolyte imbalance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Cramps can happen in arms too causing the pain and pulsing. Nausea can be triggered by electrolyte imbalance. increasing electrolyte rich fluid intake can help you. You can take fresh fruit juice for this.
