Brief Answer:
Cervical spondylosis, Muscle knot

Detailed Answer:
Hi there

Thanks for the query

You seem to be having Cervical spondylosis which is a degenerative condition of the spine in the back of the neck where the nerves travelling to the upper limb can get compressed due to the extra bone growth and degenerative changes.

Avoid bending neck forward or lifting weights. Avoid using thick pillow. Perform neck extension exercises by a Physiotherapist. You can also wear a soft cervical collar to reduce the neck flexion.

Take Tablet Pregabalin 75mg at night for a month. This will take care of the shooting pain. Apply hot packs to the affected region at the back of the neck and shoulder.

The pain in the shoulder is due to tight muscle knot formation due to the nerve irritation. A Physiotherapist will be able to give TENS and massage therapy for tempeh in that region.

I hope I have answered your query.
