Brief Answer:
Skeletal dysplasia
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Shortening of long bones is suggestive of skeletal dysplasia in the fetus.
Skeletal dysplasia are congenital malformation which occur either due to gene mutations or chromosomal anomalies like trisomy 13, 18 and Down syndrome.
Skeletal dysplasia are of various types, some are lethal while in others, the baby survives with short hands and legs, either with or without some mental impairment.
Since no other anomaly is detected apart from short limbs in this case, this seems to be a non lethal type.
I will suggest her to go for amniocentesis to rule out any chromosomal anomalies and take further decision accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
