What Causes Shortness Of Breath After Having HGH Injection?
Question: Hi Doctor, after taking an injection of HGH at low doses even 0.5iu I experience shortness of breath for a short while after the injection, is this dangerous, I dont know of anyone else who gets any symptoms from HGH injections?

I wonder why you are taking the injections. Commonly they are given for poor growth , height and muscle build. Patients of chronic kidney disease may also be given the same sometimes. Some other associated syndromes where it is used include short bowel syndrome, muscle wasting.
It acts on metabolism of the body, fluid and electrolyte balance, muscle and bone growth, and cardiac functions as well. As you can realize, almost any of these can cause breathlessness, with the possible exception of growth. the altered fluid can lead to edema, which can cause breathlessness. Increased metabolism means need of more oxygen, and hence breathlessness. Cardiac functions, if deleteriously affected can cause breathlessness
Other side effects could be as follows:
Pain in the body
Nerve disorders like tingling, numbness
High cholesterol and other lipids, and sugars
i hope you consider these effects before taking it for off label indications like avoiding ageing changes and muscle development. these may actually cause damage.
