What Causes Shortness Of Breath After Insertion Of Stent In Heart?

My friend had stints put in her heart about 8 weeks ago.
She is complaining about shortness of breath when talking and walking short distances . Her feet and hands are swollen.is this normal?

It should be due to weakness of heart pumping. Commonly secondary to the heart muscle damage that would have occurred prior to stunting. Did she have heart attack prior to this procedure. Any other health problems. How is her echocardiogram? And what are current medication?

Yes she had a heart attack that is why they put the stints in. no other health problems she is just on blood pressure tables. she has done an ecg however has not gotten the results yet. she only takes a few steps and says one or two words before getting really puffed.
