What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Pain In Right Arm?
Question: Hi,
I am writing this on behalf of my family. He sometimes faces shortness of breath for few seconds. He feels a slight pain in his right arm and cannot move.
I even wonder if it is shortness of breath. It is like a air bubble block where he cannot breath. It last for very few seconds.
Need assistance in knowing more about this.
Is it something to do with brain? or heart? or is it just a muscle catch.

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
At this age sudden breathlessness of short duration with radiation to right arm may be some pulmonary involvement( pleuritis) or episodes of asthma (associated with wheezing ).
Other possibilities may be radiculopathy due to cervical neck compression.
cardiac illness with breathlessness and right arm pain at this age is unusual.
The proper diagnosis can only be made after evaluating and examination of the patient.
Possibility of non organic diseases is also there.
Any additional complains, disease or drugs?
