What Causes Shortness Of Breath, Dry Cough And Mild Pressure In The Chest?
Asthma and acid reflux can be the reason. Not the meds.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
This is not due to medicines you take.
If you smoke, this is COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease - similar to asthma) symptoms. No doubt in that.
If you do not smoke, such symptoms are from acid reflux and asthma disease.
Heart failure can also give such symptoms especially if you cough up foamy mucus.
I suggest you to consult internal medicine specialist. Chest x-ray and spirometry should be done. You should also consider cardiologist consult.
In a meanwhile please try to limit fatty foods, spicy foods, coffee, alcohol. Do not eat or drink 2 hours before sleeping.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
