Brief Answer:
Get an X ray done
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. You seem to have cervical spondylosis possibly along with a frozen shoulder. I would recommend getting an X Ray of cervical spine (AP and lateral) as well as X Ray of shoulder (AP and lateral) of the affected side done. Based on the findings you need to see a physical therapist who would be able to demonstrate the right exercises that would be helpful to you. Hot compress should provide relief. Weight bearing needs to be avoided.
Let me know if I could help further.
