Brief Answer:
Spine disc herniation can be the reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Your friends symptoms are most likely caused by spine disc issue in the cervical area. This is more possible if she also has hands weakness or pain. Dizziness can be present as well.
Did she have breast cancer surgery? If so, any headache and hear loss should be considered with possible brain tumor. In such case, brain MRI should be done.
For spine diagnostic, spine MRI is also advisable.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
