Question: I woke up with a discolor end chin it is different from my face and wrinkles on my chin too when frowning and or chewing. Not too much when my mouth is still or closed. I'm not sure who to go to dermatologist or plastic surgeon. What could this be I remember my face burning from washing too hard and I discovered all of this.

Brief Answer:
Excessive dryness of skin and Irritant due to harsh cleansing

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and I havce noted down your concern.

You seem to have developed 'irritant dermatitis', probably from washing your face too harsh which has probably lead to it becoming excessively dry and wrinkled in appearance, at affected site. If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to use a moisturiser twice daily. In addition you may also use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g either triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream Or mometasone furoate 0.1% cream, twice daily, at affected site, mixed with a moisturiser, for faster improvement. Topical steroids are prescription products, therefore I suggest that you visit a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis as well as for the needful.

Regards
