For sleep disturbance due to alcohol withdrawal, chlordiazepoxide (librium) tablets may be used in the night. In some cases, quetiapine may also be needed.

Alprax and Librium should not be combined.

Both Alprax and Librium are benzodiazepines, so, they should not be combined. After starting Librium, alprax should be stopped.
Occasional alcohol would not lead to any health hazards.
