What Causes Slight Hand Tremor?
Question: I have a slight hand tremor over the past couple of months, it is more pronounced when I am holding up an object like a XXXXXXX or keys. People who shake hands with me have mentioned noticing the tremor as well. Is this something I need to be worried about ? Anything I need to do to ensure this does not get worse or gets corrected ?
Brief Answer:
Get investigated for hyperthyroidism
Detailed Answer:
HELLO XXXXXXX
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
At this age bilateral fine tremors may be due to anxiety or hyperthyroidism. Asymmetrical tremors may be present in young onset parkinsons but it's possibility in your case is less likely.
You should get your thyroid profile tested.
You should also try some clonazepam or beta blocker after consultation with a neurologist.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
