What Causes Slight Yellow Mucus Around Stool And Abdominal Pain?
Gastrointestinal infection can be the reason.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Such symptoms are usually caused by some mild intestinal infection (so called food poisoning). It may be caused by bacteria or virus. Blood work can be negative.
As you have back pain, your symptoms can be also caused by urinary tract infection. If so, frequent urinating should also appear.
If the abdominal pain is present in the upper right abdomen, gallstones should be considered as well and abdominal ultrasound done.
I suggest you to start with probiotic intake and avoiding fatty foods, fried foods, spicy foods. If this wont help in few days, please consult your doctor again.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
