Brief Answer:
Trust your doctor who has medical knowledge
Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your concern. Ovarian cysts are of different types are seen during routine ultrasounds scan.
The most important things to consider are,
1) Do you have any pain or discomfort
2) How are your periods ?
3) Any family history of ovarian cancers
4) What are the sizes of these cysts?
You doctor would have assessed the cysts by the appearance in scan and must be convinced that it is benign. Trust your doctor.
However, you may need follow up of these cysts as advised by your doctor.
You may also need blood test like CA 125 .

She said they are small fluid filled. I have mild discomfort from time to time. She said these type go away after a few periods. Periods now are much lighter and a bit longer but very light. No family history. She told me not to think twice about it but this friend at a wedding last night scared me. So my doctor would know and I should not worry?
Brief Answer:
Fluid filled cysts are likely benign
Detailed Answer:
Sure, your doctor would know it better. Fluid filled cysts are common after ovulation. Like Corpus luteal cyst. I am sure your doctor will certainly look at them on your next visit. Inore your frined's advice.
