What Causes Small Iris In A Child?
Most likely normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Yes, most likely the unequal appearance will resolve as she grows up. Slight asymmetry is quiet common and is related to the medial eye folds especially in children. It does not require any intervention for slight asymmetry. If possible, Kindly upload a good quality image of the eyes to have a better idea of the asymmetry that you perceive. If there is marked asymmetry then an ophthalmologist should be consulted.

The problem is my daughter has the same size irises, but both them are smaller than the other children's. Is it possible for them to grow bigger after she grows up? Anything we can do for that??
Best regards!

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
She is 11 weeks old. With time they will enlarge. Then again, your GP or an ophthalmologist should examine both eyes. If there is suspected microphthalmia or any other abnormality on physical examination then investigations such as a B scan of the eyes can be advised. But if they are only slightly smaller and there is no neglect or opacification or gross deformity then there is no need of any extensive workup and reassurance is all that would be required.

Furthermore Would you please let me know is there anything I can do to help the baby's irises increased, any specific nutrition need?

Detailed Answer:
Hello again sir,
There is no specific diet that would cause an increase in the iris size, nor should that diet or supplemented be attempted.
All you should do is provide her with a balanced diet. You can incorporate carrot juice, fresh fruits, vegetables, spinach, mashed potatoes and milk in her diet.
The better idea would be to consult an eye specialist as it seems you are worried about the unequal iris size. If he is cleared by the ophthalmologist then you will have peace of mind.
Thanks
