What Causes Small Open Sores With Redness Around The Anus?
Question: I have about 30 small open sores and significant, redness covering the area around my anus for the last two days. The pain is very bad. Advice?
Hi,
Please have yourself examined or send us a picture.
Without examining you it would be impossible to suggest what to do. What it sounds like is a Watercan perineum but without seeing, treatment cant be initiated. Therefore, please consult a Surgeon who can see you and you will probably need a course of antibiotics.
Take care n click thanks if this answer helped.

Brief Answer:
It seems like an acute infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This seems like an acute infection of some type.
Have you had any Diarrhea recently and do you have fever?
Have you been exposed to anal sex earlier? Has that area been exposed to semen contact or anything of the like?
It could be skin infection due to any of these things.
I suggest you start Tab Azithromycin 1gm once a day for three days along with Tab Tinidazole 500mg twice a day. Also have Cap Omeprazole 20mg before breakfast along with these medicines and apply Quadriderm ointment to the area twice a day after washing it with soap and water. Always keep the area dry and prevent it from any injury.
Please see a Dermatologist if you can for the problem.
Do let me know the answers to the above questions so that I can advice you better.

I don't have diarrhea or fever. Yes anal sex. No semen.
Brief Answer:
It looks like Herpes or Chancroid.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your reply and apologies for the delayed reply.
Then it is possible that this lesion is because of anal sex exposure.
It is most likely Herpes infection or Chancroid.
You should take opinion of a Dermatologist who specializes in STDs.
Please have Tab Azithromycin 1gm single dose for Chancroid or Tab Acyclovir 400mg thrice a day for a week.
You can apply Lactocalamine lotion at the site of lesion for local relief.
But ideal would be to see a Dermatologist/ Skin Specialist.
All the best and fast recovery.
