What Causes Sneezing And Wheezing Post Exposure To Cold Weather, Smoke And Dust?

Last year the things become more adverse, wheezing became more often and more profuse day by day.i consulted another doctor who asked me to stop using Fomitide inhaler and said it is a steriod .he adviced me levolin inhaler.every 3 hours i had to use it as it doesn't give relief for longer periods.last winter was very worse.every 15days i had this problem of profuse whee zing which not use to come down even with the usage of inhalers.atlast i had to get admitted in the hospital for couple of days and get relief.
Now this year too things started worsening from this seadon itself.am scared to death.nights became sleepless because of wheezing and using levolin inhaler is also of no use. please help me, and tell which doctor should i consult and what should I do now.

You need a detailed medical examination.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, I really appreciate your concern. I am Dr. Manan Patel answering your query.
As per your description you are having allergy to smoke, dust and cold weather along with symptoms like rhinitis, wheezing, difficulty in sleeping at night. These all the symptoms of allergy induced asthma.
Allergy induced asthma warrants life time preventive and control measures. You have to prevent exposure to dust and smoke. Along with it, there are certain medications like steroids and bronchodilators that control asthma symptoms. If there severe asthma symptoms then combined (steroids plus bronchodilator) inhaler and/or oral medications are being prescribed.
I advise you to consult a pulmonologist or allergist for detailed physical and biochemical examination including lung function test (spirometry) and allergy testing. He/she would classify your disease severity and according to it medications would be prescribed. Please visit the pulmonologist with your medication history and previous investigation reports if any for ease of diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help. Thank you.
Regards,
Dr. Manan Patel
