Brief Answer:
probably unrelated

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

gynecomastia is a potential side effect of rosuvastatin (crestor). Gynecomastia causes swelling of the breasts (in men) and perhaps tenderness. Besides that I can't find any relation to your symptom and since you're talking about the nipple only, I don't believe there is any connection.

I can't exclude a side effect (even an unreported one). The best thing you can do is to talk about it with your doctor. Your doctor should examine your breasts and notice problems that may be related to your symptom. If nothing can be found and the symptom started after starting the drug, then perhaps a connection can be established.

I hope you find my answer helpful!
