What Causes Sore Stomach, Sore Legs And Slight Headache?
Question: My son is complaining of a sore tummy and sore legs and slight headache for the last 12 hrs. He is 7

I understand your concerns. These symptoms can be due to a self limiting viral illness, worm infestation or some physical or psychological stress.
I would recommend acetaminophen or ibuprofen for symptomatic relief. This will help in sore legs and tummy along with headache. Give him a dose of Albendazole (400mg) at bedtime for possible worm infestation which are common in this age group. Also, Lansoprazole or ranitidine can be given if gastric acidity is suspected.
Ensure a regular, healthy diet and plenty of fluids to keep him well hydrated. Soups, lemonade and buttermilk are recommended.
