What Causes Sore Throat With Plastic Tasting Burps?
Question: My throat is sore, started two days ago. Just this morning my burps are tasting like plastic. Unsure if i accidentally ate a small piece or a drink was contaminated, or could there be a medical cause?

As per your clinical history it appears that you are having pharyngitis with acid re-flux .
Plastic like taste is mostly because of above medical condition.
If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily , Plenty of fluids , Paracetamol , antacid syrup & Vitamin C twice daily respectively.

Today the left side of my neck is swollen and sore almost middle to jaw.....Is that just a sore throat or something more?
