Brief Answer:
Due to electrolyte abnormalities.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The soreness of the muscles can be due to dehydration, muscle fatigue or electrolyte abnormalities. It is better to drink sufficient fluid and also see that your intake of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, magnesium ) is sufficient. You can drink Oralyte for this.
One of the potential causes is hypothyroidism which is a low level of thyroid hormone. You can get your blood levels evaluated.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
