What Causes Spotting After Having Regular Period?

Question: Hi, I finished my period 3-4 days ago and started bleeding again today - I don't believe it's just spotting from the descriptions I've read online, because there was a fair bit of blood on my underwear; it looked like my period would look on the 2nd last day. I just wanted to know if this was normal and when I should seek medical attention if necessary. Some other information: I'm a 19 year old female, a virgin, have never used the pill

I think,this was normal.you do not need to worry about this kind of bleeding.It is nothing but clots which are passing later.

Till, you are getting Regular period with normal flow,there is no need to panic.

If it happens in next 2-3 cycles too,then I will advise you to go for some tests like ultrasound,thyroid profile,serum prolactin level.
