What Causes Spotting During Pregnancy?
Need some treatment. Consult with doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
1) Mild spotting is quite COMMON thing in the early weeks of pregnancy. As your current ultrasound scan is NORMAL, you SHOULDN'T be worried at this stage.
However, I suggest you to repeat beta-hCG level at ONE week interval to track down the rising pattern for next 4 weeks or until spotting stops permanently. It will be worthwhile.
2) It stops automatically in MOST cases without any intervention. However, few cases need proper medical treatment. Micronised Progesterone supplements are usually given to support healthy pregnancy & prevent future risk of miscarriage. I suggest you to consult with your gynecologist regarding this.
3) You should be MORE careful during first trimester. You can do your day to day activity with some restriction like AVOID long journey, lifting heavy object, high heal shoe, uneven surface, sexual intercourse (1st & 3rd Trimester), more ups & downs. You need ADEQUATE bed rest for few more weeks.
Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.
Wish your good health and take care yourself.

7-10 days leave is enough.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for follow up query.
Don't be stressed yourself. I suggest to take leave (Office) or bed rest for 7 to 10 days as your spotting continues more than 5 days. It would be worthwhile.
As your current ultrasound scan is NORMAL, there is QUITE chance that you will carry this pregnancy. Do periodic check up to your doctor and maintain genital hygiene properly.
Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion.
All the best and good luck.
