What Causes Spotting, Menstrual Cramps And Vaginal Dryness After Taking Few I-pills?
Question: I have been on i-pill for a while, maybe used it ten times in past five months. I am not sure if this is the cause, but I am facing issues with my menstrual cycle. It god delayed for over two months at first. Then one day I felt the menstrual cramps (not severely, I never has severe issues, but I know the feeling is different). I was spotting for an hour, and then nothing happened. Exactly after a month this repeated. Its been over fifteen days now.
I had a simple cyst in my ovarian tube a couple of years ago and this was taken care of with the help of medication. I have also gained around 30 pounds in past one year. I have been under high stress past two months and am experiencing vaginal dryness quite often.
Kindly throw some light on this issue.

Hello dear, I understand your health concerns.
Yes all of this is because of repeated ipill intake which has played badly with your hormones.
In my opinion avoid its intake in future and rather start a pill pack of oral contraceptive which will regulate your periods and also give you contraception.
Start crisanta LS, dronis 30 or XXXXXXX (whichever is available), daily from day 1 of periods.
Right now just do a urine pregnancy test and if negative wait for your periods.
This irregularities in periods and vaginal dryness will be resolved soon by itself but if very bothersome use Visna gel for lubrication of vagina.
