What Causes Stabbing Pain In Leg And Numbness Around An Animal Bite?

Neuropathy likely
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Tingling sensation and numbness in the region where a sea creature bites or sucks is temporary and is unlikely to last for 3 years or recur after 3 years.
Stabbing pain in the leg, numbness and extreme sensitivity in leg area can be due to nerve compression, or localized paraesthesia due to nerve destruction.
It can be due to neuropathy caused by diabetes mellitus, so you should get blood sugar levels done.
I will suggest you to consult a neurologist for proper examination, investigations including nerve conduction velocity (NCV) and further treatment accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

Localized lesion may be possibly related to nerve injury
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Symptoms only localized to area of bite may be due to superficial nerve injury at the site.
If other areas are involved then investigation for other diagnosis is required.
Nerve conduction study may be done.
