Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Sticky and foul smelling poo could indicate fat malabsorption.
This along with diabetes may indicate that your pancreas is affected.
A stool test may be done to confirm fat malabsorption.
A CT scan of the abdomen may be done to see if your pancreas is affected.
For good bowel movements three things are important -
1. High fiber diet -. Eat lot of vegetables . You can take fiber supplements like metamucil.
2. Drink enough fluids
3. Have adequate physical activity.
I hope that answers your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Are you a gastro doctor?
If so is there anything to worry about?

Answer given below
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Yes I am a gastro doctor.
If it is due to pancreatitis, there is no need to worry.
You may have to take pancreatic enzyme supplements, if pancreatitis is causing the sticky stools.

My real question is, is this cancer of colon?
Brief Answer:
No It is not colon cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It does not seem to colon cancer.
Left sided colon cancer may present with difficulty in defecation.
But there may be additional symptoms like blood and mucus stools. You are not having an of these.
I presume that there is no family history of colon cancer since you have not mentioned about it. So at 35 years of age, with the symptoms you have mentioned, it is less likely that you may be having colon cancer.
