What Causes Stomach Aches After Prolonged Use Of Dexona Menabol And Practin?
Question: I been using dexona menabol and practin from last 15 years and now am 35 yrs old.I had stopped these medicines immidiately six months back and just after stopping it I suffered with TB and anyhow I got controlled on it but simultaneously my stomach is start paining.Is these are the side effects of this medicines,if yes then what other side effects more to be expected and how I can take precautions from that.Also suggest if any sexual disorder also can arise

I would be glad to know to medical indication/reason for using all the drugs for such a long duration.
Since Dexona and menabol are steroids they have altered your immunity giving rise to activation of TB.
Steroids increased acidity- cause acid peptic disease which range from gastritis to peptic ulcer- most manifest as stomach pain.I were to do an upper GI endoscopy to identify the exact cause which is crucial for further management.I were do this as early as possible.
I were to advise Tab.Rabeprazole 20mg once daily half an hour before breakfast.Rabeprazole is antiulcer drug which shall reduce acid secretion and there by relieves stomach pain.Avoid spicy, oily foods and drink plenty of fluids.
Steroids both dexona and menabol cause impotence.
Cyproheptadine does not affect your sexual function.

I would also like to know that my TB and impotance disease is curable. if yes, then how. Also suggest that can I spend my further life a normal person or there would still chances of any other disease.

TB can be definitely cured.Suggest to comply with treatment as advised by your physician.It is very important to complete the course since it is spread over 6-8 months.This is a must to kill the bacteria.
If you are having impotence I were to evaluate.Impotence can be be managed (not cured) by both medical therapy and assist devices(pumps) depending on the extent of your problem.This has to be medically supervised.
You may always lead a healthy life and this is not a constraint.However I would like to know if you are continuing both menabol and dexona & the reason for continuing the same.
