Brief Answer:
Seems like acidity or stomach infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
It seems like a chronic stomach infection or acidity with Gastroesophageal reflux. It may have affected your liver also. So I would suggest that you get liver function tests and complete blood count to see if there is some infection. You also need to get an ultrasound of an abdomen to see if there is an obstruction of the bowels. An endoscopy may be eventually needed.
Till then you can try the following:
- Antacids like tums whenever acidity shows up.
- Pantoprazole or omeprazole 20 - 40 mg per day to suppress acidity (if bad). It should be taken empty stomach, one hour before breakfast
-Include more fruits and vegetables in your diet. Infact take just fruits and vegetables on one or two consecutive days.
- Stomach massage helps with passing out the gas, especially the ILU massage. Lying on your tummy may also help.
- Fiber supplements and peptobismol may also help sometimes.
- Drink the cleanest water possible to avoid further stomach infection. Reverse osmosis technique produces clean water.
- Lesser abdominal girth is needed to keep the back pain in control. Also try losing some weight. Take low calorie foods and exercise daily for atleast 20 min.
Hope you include the above mentioned lifestyle measures in your daily life.
