Brief Answer:
Need diet management along with treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
So your condition seems like an uncomplicated acid peptic disease.
For patients with such complaints in my clinic,I give them antacids and acid lowering drugs like omeprazole for 5-7 days.Your doctor will guide you in this.
Meanwhile,a regular healthy diet pattern will help you a lot,and prevent frequent relapses. Please take care the following tips.
1)Make your food timings regular.Avoid "as and when needed" type eating.
2)Avoid spicy/fried/oily items as far as possible.
3)Reduce non veg items, especially beef, pork and fried items to minimum.
4)Avoid smoking/alcohol-both increases acid output in our stomach, and disrupts mucosa.
5)Take enough green leafy veges and fruits.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have further questions,I will be happy to help.
Wishing a faster cure.Thank you.
