Brief Answer:
Ovulation

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply

1. You have reached a good dominant size follicle.

2. They have given injection hCG for follicle to rupture.

3. Now they want to confirm if the follicle has ruptured hence have called you to check the rupture of follicle by ultrasound scan.

4. The follicle seem to have ruptured by now.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Serum beta hCG blood test

Detailed Answer:
Hi

To confirm pregnancy at the earliest you can opt for serum beta hCG blood test 15 days after IUI procedure.

The creamy discharge and cramping is not significant and nothing to do with pregnancy.

Why I am getting discharge and mild cramps...early sign of pregnancy?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Mahesh Koregol (5 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
No

Detailed Answer:
Hi

These are not signs of pregnancy. Since you are in second half of your cycle the mucous gets discharged with some slight corpus luteal pain.

This is normal phenomenon and nothing to do with pregnancy.

Today is 6th day after ovulation..will implantation take place now? What are Symptoms of implantation
doctor
Answered by Dr. Mahesh Koregol (41 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
implantation

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Implantation should take place anytime now. There are no specific signs for implantation.

You might have slight pain and spotting. But then these are not specific to implantation alone and not confirmatory of pregnancy.

Serum beta hCG blood test is best way

Brief Answer:
implantation

Detailed Answer:
Hi

These discharges what you suggest are common during later part of menstrual cycle.

These have nothing to do with implantation. Hence do not suggest implantation confirmatively.

Same with the cramps and pain.

Brief Answer:
IUI

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

IUI success varies between 10 to 20 percent. it is very difficult to comment on the success of procedure only by these signs.

Best way is to wait for 15 days after IUI and get pregnancy test done.
