What Causes Stomach Discomfort And Joint Pain While Treating Anxiety?

Stomach discomfort or pain in joints could be part of anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM
I can understand your concern. Omega 3 Fatty Acids and Vitamin B12 supplements have great efficacy in anxiety and depressive disorders. Some times even these supplements control symptoms and need to start medicines decreases.
Mild level of stomach discomfort and heavy feeling in chest, pain in joints wthout any specific cause could be part of anxiety. If you are able to tolerate the symptoms then no need to start medicines. For persistent anxiety and depression medicines are needed.
Relaxation exercises like breathing exercise and progressive muscle relaxation exercises (PMR) can also be utilised. This will help in controlling anxiety without medicines. PMR can be learned from YouTube or you can visit a psychologist for help. PMR will help to reduce joint pain too.
If symptoms persist then medicines are needed. SSRIs are commonly used in anxiety and have great efficacy. Paroxetine or Sertraline or Fluoxetine etc can be used for anxiety. The drugs are safe to use and have no serious side effects. Please contact a psychiatrist for help and evaluation if needed. You were advised antidepressants in past too but couldn't take due to side effects. But if the drugs are started with very low doses and gradually dose escalation is done then side effects risk reduces significantly. So you can start of starting medicines again if needed.
Thanks
