Not sure if we should go back to the family doctor, Emergency Room, Surgeon or some other specialist. hospital ran an MRCP prior to surgery and diagnois was to remove Gall Bladder
Need to go pick up dinner shortly. I may not be in front of laptop for 30-45 minutes. I took a gall bladder test on web md, said to stay away from fried food and reccoomended fruits, vegetables and lean chicken and fish. Brief Answer:
Please give details and post actual reports.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query about your wife.
To recapitulate: Female/72 - obese 260 lbs - with stage 4 CKD and type 2 diabetes - Pre-op MRCP - diagnosis was to remove gall bladder - hence operated 08/26 - still experiencing stomach pains - noted the points you mentioned in 'Medications tried' taking 5 mg Oxy/325 mg Aspirin which is causing her constipation - Family Doctor not available as is in hospital for heart valve replacement - wants to know where to go > Family Doctor/ER/Surgeon/some other Specialist....

With the history your have mentioned, it is not clear whether she had gall stones or what was the indication for gall bladder removal.
Since the pain is persisting, it may not be related to the liver, pancreas or the removed gall bladder.
Hence it would be ideal to consult the Surgeon first so that we shall know for sure the cause for the pains.
Second opinion of another Doctor- a Surgical Gastroenterologist may be ideal for clinical evaluation, further investigations to find the cause and to get the appropriate treatment.
If the pain is unbearable and constipation is also a trouble, you may have to take her to ER for finding the cause and get a relief as per the cause.

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

Brief Answer:
Please give additional information and post reports of investigations

Detailed Answer:
Noted the history of colonoscopy on 09/22 - 3 polyps sent for biopsy - diverticulosis - inability to eat and inability to digest solid foods - pain in stomach ...
What is the probable diagnosis that your Doctors are suspecting as they must have done clinical evaluation, examination and have done colonoscopy also?
What a re the other investigations done?
What are the medications is she taking?
Where exactly is the pain.
Please post the actual report of the Colonoscopy.
There can be a possibility of inflammation of diverticulosis and is called diverticulitis.
I hope she is already taking some medications.
