Detailed Answer:
Hi Mrs XXXX

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

How was your day?

Hope this message finds you in good health.

I have gone through your query in detail and understand your concern.

the feeling of leg being choked may be caused by a venous blood clot. In other words, a deep vein thrombosis. It can happen anytime, spontaneously to any individual. The swelling that you have on the foot and the leg add more to the diagnosis.

There are other possibilities of having swelling in legs like hypoproteinemia, early cellulitis etc, that need to be ruled out.

I suggest you to keep the leg elevated over a pillow ,during sleeping. Also take anti inflammatory tablets and see the progress for next 2 days. If you see no improvement, get color doppler of the affected lower imb to see if any blood vessel is blocked.

applying compression bandage and gel will help.
I hope your question has been answered.

Take care,God bless.
Wish you a healthy life : )
