No I did not take any medications or eat any new food. It came on rather suddenly.

With your detailed history, allergic response is least possible cause. Other common causes for these type of presentation is Transient ischemic attack or electrolyte imbalance.

If a patient comes to my clinic I would like to get complete examination and investigations depending on my examination findings. Brain imaging studies and electrolyte test may required to confirm condition. Get BP measurement done. Better to consult your doctor and get examined.Treatment depends on cause.
