Brief Answer:
I would recommend to stop taking the supplements.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking on HCM!
I read carefully your description.
If calcium and magnezium supplements are the cause for the event you reported is difficult to verify.
I wouldn't recommend to take them without checking calcium and magnesium level before. If they result to be low than supplements are recommended.
The dose of magnesium for your age should be 320 mg.
i would recommend to stop taking them and check; calcium level, magnesium, phosphates and Vit D.
Hope the answer is clear and helpful.
Best wishes,
