What Causes Sudden Nausea And Dizziness?
Orthostatic hypotension, vertigo or hypoglycaemia; pls read ma'am
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. In my opinion it could be either one of these three things or both:
1. Vertigo: It usually occurs with change in positions and causes difficulty with balance, usually more prominent with quick head movements. Medication like betahistine should be available over-the-counter anywhere around the world
2. Orthostatic/Positional hypotension: A drop in blood pressure occurs when the position is changed from supine (lying down) to sitting position, or from sitting to standing position. A change in diet requiring good nutritional value and adequate fluid intake is required
3. Hypoglycemia associated with poor nutritional intake: If you are not taking your meals on time and also not having sufficient amount of feed, this can take place which is more serious than the other two possibilities. Will require a proper diet, frequent small meals of good nutritional value
I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
