Dear sir
Sudden or acute onset of breathlessness in a 37 years old male can have many causes which may include a serious heart trouble, infection of lungs, spasm of airways and pulmonary embolism. All of them require urgent medical attention and meticulous work-up.

Brief Answer:
you may see the physician at routine hours
Detailed Answer:
Dear sir
If you do not have any symptoms now and there is no symptoms on exertion also like rapidly climbing two flight of stairs, you may see the physician at routine hours but not later than that. We need to see him because we are not yet clear that why such symptoms occurred at all. Once we ascertain the exact cause and it is trivial, only then the problem will be considered to be tackled fully. Hence I still recommend a physician evaluation at earliest possible.

can it be because of high acidity as well?
Brief Answer:
yes, this may be a possibility.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
It is well known that distension of stomach due to increased gastric secretion and from excessive intake of fluids / water with meals can present as breathlessness. However, we can not be sure historically only.
The clues to same will be relief with antiflatulents and gastric acid release inhibitors (H2 antagonists / PPI). Precipitants will be intake of water/ fluids with meal, typically occurring after 1-2 hours of meals and feeling of fullness in abdomen too. Some relief is expected on standing rather than lying down.
