Brief Answer:
Thorough investigation required.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic.

Have gone through your details.

Cancer of any of the abdominal organs can also cause abdominal pain and unintentional weight loss
unexplained weight loss is always a worrisome symptom, and an underlying cancer is something that always needs to be ruled out. If you have had an upper endoscopy performed as part of the evaluation of your gastritis, then the stomach lining has been visualized and presumably no sign of malignancy was detected. However, if you have not had this procedure done, then it is something to consider in the appropriate clinical setting. It is advised that you speak to your primary care doctor about your weight loss so that further work-up can be done as indicated.
Start following the advices if weight gain does not occur in a month then malignancy has to be ruled out.
Test advice are-
Upper g.i endoscopy.
Colonoscopy
Stool routine and microscopy.
These tests should be done initially to rule out the cause of pain and weigh loss.
Take a probiotic like VSL#3 daily.
Add external enzymes to your diet.

Regards.
