What Causes Sudden Severe Pain In Leg?
Sudden severe leg pain
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Musculoskeletal sprain is the most common cause for such acute onset of pain. However, the leg needs to be examined, especially for vascular compromise. Pulses needs to be determined to be present and adequate. Perfusion needs to be checked for. If there is difference between warmth and size of both the legs then a Doppler ultrasound must be done to rule out any thrombosis that can be a result of stasis , immobility or thrombophillic disorders.
If the Doppler ultrasound is normal then NSAIDs and muscle relaxants can be advised empirically to see for improvement. Most likely the pain will improve with administration of lornoxicam and tizanidine within half an hour.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Consult your GP (General Practitioner ) first. He can refer you to an ultrasound specialist for the doppler if needed and subsequently to an internal medicine doctor if there are significant findings in the doppler.
