What Causes Sudden Swelling Of Lips?
Question: Hello , I woke up this morning with a fat lip, Its not like any fat lip though when I look close enough at it it looks like 3 clear bubbles that aren't raised at all but like in my lip. The mark on my lip is skin color and I really feel no discomfort from it besides the fact that i feel its fat. I bite my lips constantly and have sometimes infected my lip from biting it and bacteria getting in there most likely. I ate this girl out last night and was wondering if it was maybe from that ? Im reading it could be a yeast infection or something but idk the internet tells me a thousand things. the girl just started birth control which made me think that but who knows. Its on the inner middle on my lip an Like i said it just a fat lip skin colored and when i shine a light on it you can see like these 3 flat bubbles its very weird. Let me know what you think

It may be oral herpes. This causes small fluid filled lesions on the mouth and would also be associated with swelling as well.
Oral herpes is present in a very large percent of the population, it is common, persons may refer to it as cold sore. It is transmitted by contact with lesions or infected fluids.
It is caused usually by the herpes simplex virus 1 but because of oral intercourse may sometimes be caused by herpes simplex 2.
Herpes simplex 2 normally causes genital herpes.
The only way to determine which is present is by tests.
Persons can transmit oral or genital herpes even if they have no symptoms , this is called asymptomatic infection of herpes.
Once a person has oral or genital herpes, the virus stays in the system and flare ups occur occasionally.
The only way to determine if this virus is present is by blood tests to detect it.
Treatment : (1) can watch and wait, normally disappear after a few days
(2)use of antiviral creams such as abreva or zovirax may help
(3)there are also oral antivirals but they are normally not used unless the flare up is severe

i read up about herpes i have literally not one symptom, you think it'd really show up in one day just like that ? I mean i had not one single prodrome symptom no itching or burning . I literally just woke up with it today. Theres zero discomfort i only feel the fact that its fat, and these don't really seem or feel like any type of blister.

thankyou for your help i really appreciate this so much seriously . I had this very similar type of infection in october. I bit my lip far down it got infected and swelled no dots just a red mark. I put chapstick on it and spread it to the middle of my lip and those little non raised dots formed then eventually just went away no discharge or anything.. A week ago i bit my lip pretty far down in same spot as a few months ago it got red an infected and went away in literally same spot. The weird thing is now this morning i got these dots and a fat lip same spot as i got it months ago after i spread to the middle up my lip . It came simultaneously just like last time . A doctor told me it was a staph infection in october. I took Clindamycin and it went away in like 3 days . But its just weird how it appeared after I ate this girl out do these things come back or is it being caused by something different now. is it possible to get staph infections in same spots. IS there enough bacteria in a girls vagina to maybe cause a staph infection?

Maybe. I Just really don't think so. You can literally barely even see the mark on my lip. Like the inflammation is already down and its looking more normal. The fact that it looks nothing like a coldsore and the fact that i have no symptoms of one has me skeptical, and the reason Im on this site. I looked up what coldsores look like you can't even see whats on my lip unless u put a flashlight on it and even then its hard to see, and its the spot of it that has me skeptical, like its not on the top of my lip or the lining of my lip which is a popular spot for a cold sore , its towards the inner part of my lip. and whats weirder is this happens whenever i bite my lip to far down, like I'm an avid lip biter and nail biter so theres easy access for bacteria all times .Its weird its recurring in the same spot though so I really just don't know
