Suggest Treatment For Cold Sores And Blisters On The Lips
My ortho dropped some blue etching fluid on my lip and he wiped it off with a cotton roll. the next day I have a sore on my lip which looked like a cold sore. I went to pharmacist who gave me zorvirax to treat it. Two days later and I realised it is not a cold sore but two blisters from the fluid that was dropped onto my lip. My ortho only visit Ireland from France every month for a ortho clinic so can yo advise me what I can put on my lip as I have stopped using the zovirax. Thank you
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain the bumps seems to be due to chemical burning with the acid and due to inflammation there is formation of bums.. Nothing to worry about it as there is nothing serious and you can apply a steroid ointment over the bumps an do cold compresses.. Do not try to lance the bumps as it may cause infection.. It may take from 3 to 4 days to almost a week to resolve..
Hope this information helps..
