What Causes Sudden Tremor And Loss Of Body Control While Having Stress?

Question: Hi,
For as long as I can remember I've gotten these strange full upper body shivers. They only last 1-2 seconds and the best way I can describe the feeling is an electric pulse running down my spine. It's completely involuntary and happens randomly, even when I'm in great health. It seems to be genetic since the only other person I've ever met who has these as well is my father. I lose control of my body for a couple seconds and seem to completely tense up from the hips up. My head usually shakes physically as well once or twice and I let in a deep audible inhale. It does seem to occur more when I'm stressed, but not exclusively. No one has been able to diagnose or treat it and it's pretty uncomfortable when it happens. Not to mention awkward.
Please help.
Thanks!

None of the symptoms you mentioned happen. And I haven't had either of the tests.
Brief Answer:
Requires evaluation and examination by a neurologist
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You can at-least get some blood investigation like vitamin B12 levels and vitamin D3.
You can get MRI after clinical evaluation by a neurologist.
A video of episodes may be of great help.
