The killer for me it that no matter the type of exercise I do, I am not successful it getting it to reduce. My ideal weight is 130 lbs. I now weight 163. Due to my husband being Diabetic type 2, we follow a very regimented guideline to keep his blood sugar in control. Do you have any suggestions that you aid me in my goal to get my weight back dowm to my goal weight? I would greatly appreciate any help you gould give, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Weight gain

Detailed Answer:
Sorry to note your challenges with maintaining healthy body weight.

This is increasingly being noticed by me in many of patients too. That is to say, that despite eating healthy and exercising well , individuals still tend to gain weight although gradually.
It is a puzzling matter and befuddles many doctors and scientists worldwide. Most strangely it occurs to some people but not others.

There is nothing medically to offer as of now except rule out certain hormone related diseases such as Cushing's syndrome and Acromegaly. These are uncommon diseases that cause weight gain.
Check with your doctor if these tests need to be run on you.

I noticed your labs are fine except the suppressed TSH. It is not a good idea to remain in this range for this test. Typically nature-thyroid does this.
Most endocrinologists worldwide do not prefer this as it is considered to be harmful for various reasons.
