What Causes Sudden Weight Loss With Loose Bowel Movement, fatigue And Night Sweats?

begin with ultrasound abdomen and stool examinatio
Detailed Answer:
hello and welcome,
It seems that your problem is more related to the bowel rather than perimenopause.
You also have a history of a colon issue years ago. This may again be another one as you are having irregular bowels.
You also have associated vomiting. So a gastric or intestinal condition is most likely causing this. It is difficult to pin point a cause without examination and extensive investigations but a baseline evaluation includes an ultrasound of the abdomen and a stool examination for red blood cells, ova and cysts.
With these then further investigations are a barium meal or an endoscopy or a CT[ computed tomography] scan as per case. An HIV test is also recommended.
Meanwhile I suggest that you start probiotics and eat cooked [ not raw] salads as a part of your regular meals. We also prefer to give a course of antibiotics like metronidazole or erythromycin to help clean the bowel along with probiotics.
Other reasons for weight loss include stress, imbalance between calorie intake and work and lack of sleep. So please check if any of these are present in your case.
So discuss the case with your doctors and then go for further evaluation.
Hope this satisfies your query.

try antacids and see, cancer is rare
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,
I understand that the issue well.
At this point of time I would not worry so much about cancers as they are rare. The commoner causes of nausea, vomiting abdominal pain are gastritis or enteritis, that is infection of stomach or intestines, acid peptic disease or hyperacidity and gall stones.
Another way out now could be to use anta acids and eat a really bland diet low in spice and oil like cooked cereal, rice gruel, or soup [ no spice]. Drugs like pantoprazole once a day are very useful for a week. Other ones are aluminium hydroxide gel and ranitidine [ less effective]. If the symptoms decrease then the cause is acidity in the stomach. Also no alcohol or smoking as they shoot up the acidity.
The pain of gall stones is severe and does not get relieved easily even with drugs. An ultrasound helps to diagnose.
Drugs like ondensetrone help to control nausea and vomiting and simple ones like doxylamine can be had over the counter once or twice a day.
Ear infections may also cause nausea and vomiting but abdominal pain is not there in such cases.
I suggest that you see a gastroenterologist if these remedies do not work.
Also once you are relieved of these symptoms you may try natural estrogen containing products like soyabean, black kohash, yams, carrots, fenugreek, sesame seeds and clover to help decrease the menopausal symptoms.
Hope this helps you.
Let me now if there are any more queries.
I completely understand the issue.
Take care.
